- Insurance
Personal Insurance
It is a requirement that all guests have current personal holiday travel insurance to cover a sailing holiday; including adequate accident and health insurance cover for the duration of the charter.
The Company will not be liable for any cover it may not provide.
The Company shall not under any circumstances whatsoever be liable for loss or damage to any of the charterers' property, or for illness, accident, personal injury or death suffered by any guests.
No liability or responsibility is accepted for any loss or additional expenses incurred due to any accident or illness.
The Company will not be a party to any negotiations with doctors, health centres or hospitals.
Yacht Insurance
The yacht has all necessary comprehensive insurance including third parties cover.
- The Company's Responsibilities
The Company will endeavour to ensure the yacht will be fully equipped as specified and described. The yacht inventory may be varied without notice but will always meet required safety standards.
In the event that Corazon is unavailable when you arrive, then alternative accommodation will be provided by the Company until such time as it is available. Either party can consider the charter terminated should the delay exceed 25% of the charter period. In these circumstances the Company will refund the charter payment.
This will be the full extent of the Company's compensation and it will not have any further liability in connection with the termination of the charter.
In the event of malfunction of equipment occurring during your charter, the Company will strive to remedy this as quickly as possible. Any inconvenience, delay or loss caused to guests beyond the Company's control will not be the Company's liability.
In the event the Company cannot provide the contracted facilities it will contact the 1st named and discuss alternative arrangements. Should circumstances arise beyond it's control, or if the Company is unable to provide an acceptable alternative, it may be necessary to cancel the holiday before departure. A full refund of all monies paid will be made to the 1st named.
- Charterers' Responsibilities
A booking for Corazon skippered yacht charter does not require guests to have any previous sailing experience. At times however, it may be necessary for one guest to assist in handling the yacht under direction from the Skipper.
All sailing holidays contain an element of risk and the chartering of the yacht assumes guests accept that. Therefore any participation in this activity is your decision. The Skipper is responsible for the safety of the vessel, the crew and it's guests at all times.
- Complaints
The Company will strive to meet it's aim that you have a positive holiday experience on board Corazon. In the event that you have a complaint this should be raised the same day so it can be handled immediately.
A complaint which has not been satisfactorily dealt with or has not been raised during the charter period should be made in writing to the Company within fourteen days of the last day of the charter. The Company will not consider complaints sent after the fourteen day time limit.
This contract shall be construed in accordance with English law and the parties involved hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
